JANUARY

Palm Springs International Film Festival is in its 28th year and scheduled for January 5 to 16, 2023. Film festival events include the Black Tie Awards Gala, question and answer sessions, and more. For more information, contact  800-898-7256.

HITS Thermal Desert Circuit Horse Show is an eight-week hunter/jumper horse show running from January 19 to March 20, 2023. CareerBuilder Challenge is scheduled for January 18-24, 2023, The gulf tournament, offered in partnership with the William J. Clinton Foundation, features PGA gulf tour pros. For ticket information contact: 760-346-8184.

Southwest Arts Festival is the largest three-day art show and features over 260 artists. Hosted at the beautiful Empire Polo Club, the Southwest Arts Festival is scheduled for January 28-29, 2023. For more information contact: 760-347-0676.

FEBRUARY

Tour de Palm Springs offers sunshine, live music, food, and thousands of bikers riding for a charitable cause. The Tour de Palm Springs will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023. For more information: 760-770-4626.

Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival features carnival rides, food, and other sorts of entertainment. A tradition for families, residents and visitors to the Coachella Valley, the nine-day festival is scheduled for Friday, February 17 through Sunday, February 26, 2023. MARCH

BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament is the fifth most attended tennis tournament after the Grand Slam tournaments. The event, featuring men and women athletes is held from March 6 to 19, 2023. For more information, check BNP Paribas Open.

Fashion Week El Paseo  unfolds March 17-23, 2022 At The Gardens on El Paseo, our most celebrated shopping district. Fashion Week El Paseo showcases the newest collections by top designers as well as fresh ideas by emerging designers. Produced by Palm Springs Life, Fashion Week is one of the Coachella Valley’s most popular events.

APRIL

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival features two consecutive three-day weekends held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. The Festival includes many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop and electronic music. The Festival is scheduled for April 14 to 15 and April 21-23, 2023. MAY

JUNE

Palm Springs Desert Resorts Restaurant Week is a 10-day celebration of local cuisine. La Quinta Arts Festival is a favorite of visitors to the Coachella Valley and is nationally recognized by national publications as one of the top art festivals in the nation. Scheduled for June 19, 2022.

JULY

4th of July – Civic Center Park features free music and fireworks. The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 4, with a 90-minute concert followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. For more information, contact 760-346-0611.

AUGUST

Idyllwild Jazz Festival supports talented artists and helps raise funds for the Idyllwild Arts Academy & Summer Program. Held in August, 2023, at the Idyllwild Arts Campus the Festival gates open at 10 a.m  For more information contact: 951-500-4090.

OCTOBER

Palm Springs Modernism Week will be held October, Oct. 13-16, 2022. The event will feature over 80 premier national and international decorative and fine arts dealers who will present designs from the Modernism movement. Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge is scheduled for October 28, 2022. The exhilarating 6K uphill run & walk benefits the United Way of the Desert. For more information, contact: 760-324-7069.

Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade features a march of whimsically decorated golf carts and bands down famous El Paseo street. NOVEMBER

Palm Desert  Choreography Festival  is a “can’t miss” event for dance fans. DECEMBER

Indio International Tamale Festival –was ranked by The Food Network-TV a one of the top 10 “All American Food Festivals” in the nation.
